Dawn of the First Day
Woah, haven't posted in a while! I've been busy with school, though, so who can blame me. Today is the release of Skyward Sword, and as of now, it's 8 in the morning. My parents are going to drive me to Gamestop (which is an hour drive away) and get me a copy as an early birthday present, because as some of you know I was born on Thanksgiving. It's just- weird to think that it's finally over. All these posts, all this anticipation, will be gone. And I'm not saying I'm not looking forward to the game, 'cause I am, but- what are we gonna post now? Oh well, now we can wait for E3. Whelp, see you guys soon, I hope I can get some gameplay up.

New Pokemon Rumble Blast Trailer
There's a new Pokemon Rumble Blast trailer out. This one's in English. Anyway, it's coming out October 24th in the States, and next week in Japan. I'll be coming out with some more news upon the game's release.

New Skyward Trailer
There's been a new Skyward Sword trailer released at the Comic-Con in San Diego. Quite honestly, this might be the best thing that's ever happened to me. Gorons in Skyward Sword. Period. I mean, you can tell I have an obsession with Gorons if you just read the title of my blog, The Goron Times. The Goron appears at 1:30. He looks like he's some sort of traveling merchant. Does this mean that Gorons will be traveling around like in The Wind Waker? Only time will tell.
Also: I've beaten Ocarina of Time this morning. The first Ganondorf wasn't that hard, but when he appeared as Beast Ganon, things got a little more interesting. All in all, great game. It's now my favorite Zelda game behind Wind Waker. (If you know me, I have an obsession with Gorons, and the Wind Waker) I already have MM on my Wii, I'm at the Pirate Fortress.

Pokemon Rumble Blast
Anyway, I've read that Super Pokemon Scramble (See previous post) is due for localization. That means that they will translate the game to English, and release it in the States. Here, it will be called Pokemon Rumble Blast. It's the sequel to Pokemon Rumble for the WiiWare. Pokemon Rumble Blast will come out for the 3DS. Another great thing about this game, is that it's not just Kanto and Sinnoh Pokemon. It's the whole 646 of 'em. This really takes the 'Gotta Catch 'Em All!' to a new standard.
This game is due for release in America on October 24th 2011. I don't know about you, but they announced this game at E3 2011, and it's coming out real quick. Why can't they do that with Skyward Sword? I've been waiting since 'Zelda Wii' was announced.

Zelda Dungeon's Zeldathon
This is pretty good stuff, guys.
"The Zelda Dungeon and Zeldathon collaborative 96-Hour Zelda Marathon is set to begin… Tuesday afternoon! That’s right, it will be starting at approximately 4:00pm US Eastern Time tomorrow (or later today depending on when you read this news post). If you haven’t heard of it yet… it is a 96-Hour marathon where we will be playing pretty much all of the Legend of Zelda games in the series. Not only will we be touching on just about all of the console and handheld titles, but we’ll also be streaming some multiplayer Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures, and even the unlicensed Phillips CD-i Zelda games!
I will be attending the event in person, joining the Zeldathon team throughout the marathon. We’ll be live streaming the games while simultaneously having a webcam setup. Not only will you be able to see us while we are playing, but you’ll also be able to interact with us via a live embedded chatroom. You can check out the event over at Zeldathon or right here at Zelda Dungeon. Once we are near the start of the event, both sites will be updating their page with the live video stream front and center.
Throughout the marathon we will be taking donations, raising money for the American Red Cross. Additionally, as we reach certain milestones in donations, we will be taking on certain challenges, such as the Phillips CD-i Zelda games! There are tons of prizes, fun events lined up, and plenty of Zelda gaming and discussion. You certainly don’t want to miss the best Zelda party of the summer! Be sure to check back tomorrow afternoon, and over the course of the next five days as we tear through the entire Zelda series in a 96-hour marathon!"
So basically, they're gonna pop out their Red Bull's and crank through all of the Zelda games. This is really great, I mean, you can watch it as a walkthrough, get a glance at some Zelda games you haven't played, or just watch for pure enjoyment. I know that I'm going to watch, I'll get to watch them go through Gerudo Valley, (Where I'm stuck,) And see how to melt those darn Zoras that are frozen in the lake in TP. So, this will be epic, guys. Be sure to watch.
Better show a link to ZD right? Well, here 'tis.

Gyroscope Features For OoT 3DS
As many of you know, Zelda Dungeon was asked to have a hands-on testing of OoT 3DS. They got to try out some of the new features, and apparently, the Master Quest is seriously hard stuff. Everything is mirrored and the monsters do double damage imagine Volgavia's fire attack. That will take away 6 heart pieces. That's pretty close to the beginning of the game too. Back to the mirrored thing. This will actually be harder than most would expect. I mean, you'll probably be having a hard time with temples as is, but when it's mirrored, wow.
I need to get to the title thing....
Gyroscope! For those who don't know, it's like tilting something (Ex: iPod touch) and your guy moves or something in the game. 3DS has that. That's been overshadowed a lot by it's 3D thing. Anyway, when you aim in the game, (Bow and Arrow, Hookshot, etc.) You actually have to tilt the 3DS.. Is that legit or what?

Thanks to Wind(l)illy/ Wizard101
I would like to give a big round of applause to my good friend, Wind(l)illy/Sierra Winterbreeze. She helped me with the Forest Temple so I'm actually NOT stuck in the temple. I actually feel kinda stupid now.
I'm playing Wizard101 again. I'm going to finish Grizzleheim, so I can go to WinterTusk. And.... That's pretty much it.

TP To Be A "Nintendo Selects" Title
As confirmed by Zelda Dungeon, Twilight Princess will be featured as a "Nintendo Selects" title. It's pretty much the same thing as "Player's Choice" for the Gamecube. This means it will return to shelves and be sold at a great price of 20 bucks. So, for those of whom who haven't played TP yet (That includes me) will have this great opportunity to get the game at a low price.

OoT Epona Side Quest + Commentary
Well, what I'm gonna do today is write about my adventures that I just recently had in OoT. The part where you get Epona (Link's horse)
Link just woke up from the seven years thing, which I think is funny because I can imagine Link running around saying "Yay! I'm a 19 year old with a 12 year old education!" Anyway, so go to Termina Field, and play the Sun's Song so it turns to night. Go into the ranch and you hear someone singing. Maybe that girl's in some sort of trance. Her name is Malon.
Get right inside her personal space bubble (Seriously. You have to be like, two inches away from her for this to work) And whip our the Ocarina. I think that she'll teach you Epona's song if you don't know it already, and then she'll give you a backstory about the ranch, and how this weirdo named Ingo kinda took it from her dad.
Go back into the little outside hallway and go into the house that isn't made of wood. You'll find a ton of cukkos (I think that's what there called) and go up the stairs into the door.
Once in there, you see a guy sleeping. Luckily, you can't see his face, which is actually kind of nice because this guy looks extremely strange. Talk to him (What kind of guy talks in his sleep? This guy.) He'll mutter something about how he hates a song. (Epona's song) Me, being the mischievous kind of guy I am. I played the song a couple times just to irk him. (Nothing actually happens though.) Go outside, play the Sun's song, and make it the next morning.
You see that guy who was in the bed last night, but this time you see his face. I want to to take a good look at this guy. He's freaky lookin'. I mean, he looks like a mix between Mario, Wario, Waluigi, and with one eye bigger than the other. Get a lot of rupees (99) by running into his bedroom, breaking the pots, and stealing the rupees. You need a lot for this.
Talk to him, and say that you want to ride the horses. DON'T hop on any of them. First play Epona's song and a reddish horse will come to you. That's Epona. Hop on, ride around for about 20 seconds to get used to riding. While still on the horse, go and talk to Ingo.Get ready for a race.
You have to wager 50 rupees, so try not to have to do this many times. Follow him close behind until he turns the first corner. He doesn't hug the corner so take this opportunity and quickly cut in front of him. Don't EVER have less then 2 carrots to use. After you win, he'll throw a tantrum. (Ingo, didn't your mother ever tell you to be a good sport?) He'll say he wants a rematch. This time for all the marbles: Epona.
This time, things get a little more interesting. He goes TONS faster, but if you follow the same plan as earlier you'll have a good chance of winning. After you win, it'll zoom in on him throwing a tantrum this time. (Wow. He has a lot of hair on his neck.)
After that, he'll lock you in the ranch. Man, who kidnaps a 19 year old? He does. Time to play some break-out here and jump the fence to the left hand side of the ranch. There will be a cool cut-scene. You're free!
I dunno about you, but I really wanted to go back and rub it in his face. When you go back, you'll notice he's a little different than last time you saw him. He was weird before, but now? Well, let's put it this way. If you go to my dictionary, look up "weirdo," there will be a picture of him there. Talk to him and he'll say something along the lines of "My name is Ingo. I'm honored to work here!" Go talk to Malon, who is singing again, and she'll say something about how you saved the ranch, and that her dad is coming back. That's good. Once again, Link has saved the day.

New Pokemon Video Game/A Warm Welcome/ Zelda Tournament
News has been really slow lately, and I really needed to post something before everybody stopped reading my blog.
New Pokemon Video Game
Well, it was announced on one of those crazy Japanese Magazines that they will announce a new Pokemon Video game in this month's issue. Is it anew Battle Revolution game? Pokemon Gray? A stupid typing game no one cares about? Only time will tell.Warm Welcome
I'm elated that I finally have my second follower. Lucas MythForge! Thanks for joining my blog, and thanks to Sierra/Windilly for bearing with me.
Zelda Game Tournament
You may have read about this on Medli's Messages, but hey. That's what affiliates are for. IGN is doing a Best Zelda Game tournament, but some of those match-ups are totally bogus. I mean, Four Swords against Majora's Mask? Who thought of that?
Anyway, thanks for reading, The Goron Times.

Battle & Get Pokemon Typing
For those who care, (I don't) there is this new Pokemon Typing game that just came out in Japan. It seems sort of weird to me, but for those who care, you can find info on serebii.net .

Global Link Eeveeloution Details
I just found out that if you can't find your Eeveeloution in the Pokemon Dream World right now, it's because they will be giving them out on May 5th. The Pokemon Dream World is a great website, but if your under the age 13 (I think) when you try to log on, you will get an E-mail saying that you need parent's permission to get on. So don't think something is wrong.

Master Quest OoT & Early Global Link
On the official Nintendo site, it says that OoT 3DS will come out June 19th (Oops, sorry guys. Two days later than I previously said.) Also, it states that it will include the Master Quest version of the game too.
Master Quest OoT is pretty much just the original game, but all the dungeons are on Steroids. So its sort of an accomplishment. If you win it, you get kudos from me. I think the original games are hard enough. But I would try to do that AFTER I've won the original version, since I am "Obsessed"
Finally, Global Link, (Pokemon) came out a day early. But I don't suggest going on until later at night. The servers are so backed up that it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get on. BUT I do suggest setting up your Trainer Club account now, so do don't have to wait when it's better to come on.

Skyward Release Date (Sort of)
I was on the Wikipedia page for Skyward today when I noticed this.
"In late January 2011, it was announced that Skyward Sword was entering the final stages of completion, and will be released after the 3DS remake of Ocarina of Time, which in turn will be available in June 2011"
So it will come out sometime AFTER June 17th, and sometime in 2011.
More in the affiliate stuff: Lets all wish good luck to Windilly, (Or the owner of Medli's Messages) She JUST GOT The Adventure Of Link today. I hear it's real hard. Good luck.

New Affiliate and Other stuff from Medli's Messages
I am now in cooperation with Medli's Messages, owned by my close friend, Windilly of Wizard101 Central. You can find a link at the bottom of the Goron Times.
Here are some stuff that I got from my new affiliate.
OoT 3DS will be rated E10+ while the original OoT was rated E. Probably because they caught up with the times, and with the better GFX some things that were okay to show then, aren't now. (Thinks of Great Fairy and shudders)
Also, Kid Icarus Uprising will be coming out May 6th.
Give a big round of applause to Medli's Messages for showing me all this stuff!
